Profile

Elizabeth Darwish is a practitioner qualified in both jurisdictions of American and Caribbean Common Wealth Law. She graduated from Nova Southeastern Shepard Board Law School with a Juris Doctorate in 2011. She received a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in 2007, with a concentration in International European and Caribbean Law.

Her perspective on conflict resolution and mediation comes from having studied abroad in Greece and Italy completing a distinction in International Armed Conflict and Resolution. During her undergraduate studies, she worked for a Mortgage company as a loan processor and spent time working with the Florida Commission on Human Relations. She gained experience in government campaigning as finance director for “Skip Campbell” for the Florida State Senate. In Law School, she gained distinctions such as Trial Advocacy and worked for Law Firm specializing in Consumer Protection Law.

During her last semester of law school, she went to Trinidad and Tobago to complete an International legal clinic. After making an official move to Trinidad, she worked in Anti-money laundering and compliance for the Development Finance Bank. She then decided to complete her Legal Education Certificate at Hugh Wooding Law School and shortly after was called to the bar in Trinidad and Tobago with the ability to practice in other commonwealth jurisdictions.

Her experience and wealth of resources in business law will help you bridge the gap in International and Immigration Business Matters between the United States and the Caribbean. Ms. Darwish also takes the time to give back to the Trinidad community through legal aid and initiatives in health and wellness.
